a lot of people often dislike the idea of ponies getting drunk because it implies a loss of inhibition and by extension purity, because a lot of our morality seemingly comes from requiring that constant rational thought even if it's just running in the background
though for ponies morality to me is more of a formulative, core thing for them. alcohol does little to hinder it. i think they can still be impulsive and stupid but it would never make them outright evil or do something heinous
so i'd say yes because the idea is funny. i know some people find the idea of ponies getting drunk off of carbonation alone amusing too
