Yeah, made same typo twice, apologies.
Oh yeah, that "prove yourself before I even treat you with baseline respect" thing absolutely exists irl. I do understand why it exists, to test one's resolve, which probably worked well for most of history, but in current political climate feels dangerous to engage in. Especially if one has a history of non-perfect sign interpretation, which is probably most men. Fortunately it does not exist among mares.
>Murder is objectively bad
Agreed and every reasonable person would agree. And yet serial killers do get love letters from 3dpd. I regret using "objectively", I should have used "universally", because that is much closer to what I meant.
>still doesn't mean Zipp would fall for me
Yeah, I see being a good person in universal sense like a baseline, just a foundation. To get Zipp you would also add few levels above that foundation. And I think she would be most "impressed" with someone that is
- not very explicit about their private life (secretive, private personality, I bet she would cringe at a guy taking a pic of his food at a date with her to post on social media)
- being able to tell her emotions even when she's not very opaque (perception and deep introspection)
- be more on the serious side rather than carefree
I think that is what she would like on top of being a good person. Notice how none of these are universal. I bet Izzy would prefer someone as carefree as herself. And for Pipp it would be mandatory for her beloved to be also obsessed with social media, since it's possible a lot of their privacy would end up posted there. The introspection part sounds like a universal desire, but thing is Zipp is not making herself easy to read on purpose, so it's a bit higher level than simply being attentive to other person's emotions (and that totally is in the baseline). Tho this part has a lot of assumptions based on just few interactions. But I think she would actively want you to dig deeper into what she says, rather than taking stuff at face value.
I am probably wrong, but this is how I imagine her. I also would bet she would need someone she can share flight with, and yet she has eyes for Hitch more than once in the series. Not a mare that is easy to read.
