Not gonna lie, the Cutie Mark system is fucked up and would be the biggest problem I'd have with living in Equestria.

This is just blatantly wrong. A symptom of watching past S2 I assume

>in Equestria you're only allowed to be good at one thing in life
There's clearly ponies with several talents. Applejack is also good with lassoes, good at construction, good with herding cattle, with general organisation, has strong leadership capabilities.
>you're magically barred from developing multiple skills or changing careers, ever
Rarity is very, very good at finding gems. However instead of that being her main job - and it'd probably be a very easy way to have a lucrative lifestyle - she decided to get into fashion instead. What does that have to do with gems? Most of her dresses don't even incorporate gems in any fashion.
>you get magically assigned a job to do when you hit puberty and are stuck with it for your whole life
No you don't. The cutie mark isn't something imposed on you. It's something that represents you, it IS you. By its very nature, you're going to be pretty happy and fulfilled with whatever cutie mark you get! And as Rarity has showed, it does not necessarily limit your career choices. As for further example - Twilight's cutie mark is all about magic and friendship. She spent most of her life as a student, and she ended up as a librarian. Derpy has bubbles on her ass, she's a mailmare. Colgate/Minuette a hourglass, but she's not a chronomancer now, is she?
>ponies think you're crazy if you have any problem with this at all
The only ones with such a misunderstanding of cutie marks are the literal foals who are obviously very mislead.

Its a positive rather than a negative. A ponies base level ability is pretty low, the special skill gives them a supernatural boost in one area. They are not actively being restricted from doing something else, they just naturally suck at everything when not boosted by their cutie mark. Most of a ponies skull is take up by their eyes. The mundane power of their brain is pretty low.

That's nice I chose fear due to multispec.

>Most of a ponies skull is take up by their eyes
Probably not. I think someone did the math and if their eyes were like ours, they wouldn't fit inside of their skulls at all. They're either eye plates or more likely, they're magic and if you cut them up you'll find fluff, pixie dust and liquid magic.
>A ponies base level ability is pretty low
They're pretty good at whatever they set their mind to! Cherry Berry's appearance betrays her apparent interest in aircraft and flight, and she's competent enough to get into the air several times. Plenty of other examples like that.

Just off the top of my head didn't Rumble's brother literally explain that he had a thing for cooking unrelated to his mark
Either way, one talent's better than none. One job's better than being stuck in this room. Being in a land of ponies where cost of living is manageable even for a traveling magician in a land of literal magic is infinitely better than the earth I've been living in. So how about fuck you OP.
