It never used to be. It only became like that when people brainrotted by current day politics started associating wanting to be a pony with trannies. These same people also flip their shit at rule 63 of characters, something that nobody ever used to have a problem with. They're the reactionary, conservative opposite side of the movement that tries to enforce the LGBTQ agenda in the West and we, regular people who just enjoy these fandom concepts as a fantasy, are caught in the middle.
