My headcanon is that Sunset began trying to help them get back on their feet after Backstage Pass, they crash at her place and make an absolute mess out of it but end up sharing their experiences with Equestria and grow some respect for Sunset in a weird way.
Since they lost their magic, Sunset helps them regain that spark through vocal training, until they eventually don't need a program at all.

I remember back in the day pretty much everyone went with the 'they're a 1000/over a 1000 years old and were not suspended in time' thing; now it kinda feels like there's quite a lot that don't really go with it anymore. or the other people just left lol.

Ayo, so I'm not sure if you mean the Raraflag fren or me, but I made a bunch of ai voice stuff a while back that was shared in the stream a couple of times.
I didn't just use 15.ai; I found better success using Elevenlabs with my own autistically cobbled together soundsets which included lines from interviews spliced in to give more range, clips of their actresses in other shows, etc - but I was still new to it all so the results were meh.
I also tried self-hosting my own shit to try and do some Dazzle songs and have more control over the text-to-speech synthesis, using things like RVC(and IIRC: SVC?)
They were better than a lot of other Dazzle voices though at least. I feel like if I got back to it I could probably get way better results.
I still have all of the voice files and datasets I assembled; I had them up on dazzlefan.club, but the fucking mediafire/mega links died; I plan on putting em back up when the new version of the site gets made(whenever that is) but since that's taking a long ass time, I'll probably go ahead later today or tomorrow and just upload them and link them here or in the next thread.
Reason I stopped working on it all was because I started feeling fucking weird sitting here splicing shit out of Johnny Test for Sonata's voice, spending time isolating it, and then felt even weirder doing it with live interviews where the actual actresses were speaking. I'm not autistic enough to get over the weirdness of it.
