It's not a game, it's a collection simulator. You collect cute ponies and watch them walk around. One thing people don't realize is that it has an augmented reality camera. As in you can take a picture IRL and put one of your ponies in the picture. The ponies are resizable too.

You can get away with spending very little if you don't care to build a large town and progress the shitty pay walled quests. You get free starting ponies, which includes the m6. If you have the discipline to keep your wallet closed, and only open it on occasion for a pony you really like, it can be worth it. But if you are easily manipulated into buying stuff, or are a collection completest, then avoid like the plague.

I had like 300 ponies back in 2016, before I had to swap phones.
I tried to get my save data, but no dice. 4 years of my life wasted, and I never wasted a cent. I don't want to imagine how much I will lose now that I have a job just to recover a piece of what I had.

Besides, didn't some dude broke the code and got the models? There's no reason to play the game anymore, they are just releasing comic characters, and the comics suck ass.

I hop on for maybe 10 minutes a week, and certainly not everyday. I just like to look at a few of my ponies. And it's always fun to find the derpy box. I already have the characters I want so I don't really care what they release next.
