Actually, speaking of trains: I got tickets directly to Waiblingen which means I have the extra short trip from Stuttgart to there. I know from experience that they tend to delay the longer trains if one is running late so people don't miss their switches (happened both coming and going last year for my multi-hour ones) but I'm assuming the short one is just part of a regular regional ride that goes back and forth. If that's the case then if I get to Stuttgart late is the ticket I have fine for a later version of the same train ride or do I need to go manually/digitally change it somewhere?

For local connections the ticket is fine for any time, yeah. And yes, the train to Waiblingen is most likely local, S-Bahn or RB/RE. Also once you miss a train due to a prior train's delay you're free to pick whatever connection you want anyways, no ticket change required (except for an all-regional ticket not allowing you to pick long distance trains).

So far it's a Metajoker thing today during the concert. He's a furfag, and while most of his set was pony, the few songs that weren't were in poor taste imo.
As for merch, the vast majority of it is pony or things that "brownies" consider pony-related, i.e. anthro. Why these people are allowed to also sell non-pony shit is a better question.

We had a long conversation with Metajoker about this, basically he's of the opinion that restricting musicians to pony only would eventually lead to the pony con music scene fizzling out. Apparently many cons nowadays have a 70+ % pony rule which he likes. In his case specifically he doesn't want to play only old stuff and due to the way he makes music may not always have that much recent pony stuff available. He agrees it differs per artform though and would support pony-only cosplay contests.
Also I'm not sure I'd call three songs of a full set very visibly showcasing by the con but that may be semantics.
