You DO keep a backup of all your pony content, right Anon? What's in your archive, how big is it, and how much of it is NOT porn? What should be essential to creating the ultimate pone archive?
I've been backing up my web activity since 2003. I have every picture, swf, text file, webm, mp4, ect saved on triple redundant hard drives. Non-encrypted. There is even a video on there apologizing to whomever found my backups for what they just witnessed in the event of my death.

clinging to the past is foolish, but ignoring it is even worse. Archives preserve pony history and let new creators build on it, instead of rehashing old ideas

That's the problem. I've heard it on radio but radio metadata was only "Other - Giggle". Same in the roster sheet on their site. Pony.fm also no luck so I suppose it's something recent. I was hoping that someone with more recent database could search for possible artist.

This is what I hope happens more often. There's a lot of things archived out there, including many half-finished projects. But projects almost always start from scratch. Nothing wrong with that, just wished there were at least a couple that tried to finish some of these half-finished projects.
Posting here because I'm unfamiliar with archival process and need some advice.
I purchased all of the raw art sheets from the Art Jam at Marefair in the auction. There's a shit ton of amazing content in these and I'm trying to figure out the best way to digitize/archive it. Any suggestions?
Pony folder is 29.6 GB. I'm trying to be a good boy, so I deleted everything explicit, but still have a lot of fetish stuff. It doesn't help. Pony music folder is 571 MB with 108 songs.

If you're interested in archival process as a whole you may look at some guides online like https://dag.cessda.eu/Chapter-1/8-What-is-the-process-of-archiving-from-beginning-to-end
If you're asking about your specific task at hoof, you should be more specific. In general, I'd get good camera/flatbed scanner and dump it on DB with attention to tags. Remember, archival process ends only when you made your information available for public in manner that helps to find and navigate that information. Until then it's just another lost media.
