In the image you've posted, her tail looks more like Tails'es two tails than horse-hair. Trixie's tail-shape is a bit odd in general. In the show, it has 3 points, but is mostly one strong central swoosh. Flawless is supposed to have trixie's tail-shape, but with different coloration.

So, for shape, it's depicted off-model all the time because the whole show is off model all the time, and the shape is particularly difficult to remember in detail in the first place.

So, because people like symmetry, they just match her tail hair to her face hair in their own incomplete memories without ever realizing they have done anything wrong.

For color, there's a similar explanation, except one might logically assume that they simply can't see all the colors of the tail from particular angles. So the colors have an extra excuse.

Originally, yes, that is what the projector was for. It was never really planned, I just happened to find it at a thrift store and didn't really know what else to do with it.
It was either in one of these threads or on /o/ that someone suggested hanging a white sheet /inside/ the van instead, and I think that sounds like a fantastic idea, basically instead of sitting in the front seat and aiming the projector out the windshield, I'll be sitting in the second row seats, which are facing backwards, and the projector will be sitting on the table between them pointed towards the rear bench seat where the white sheet should be hanging.

I say should, because I can't actually find one. Somehow. In this house of 1 million random fabrics.
This is just like when I tried using it like a ghetto Drive-In, I couldn't find a white building anywhere to actually project an image, now I can't find a white sheet!
If I can figure it out though, I bet it will look very cool :)

No, the monologue was ordered directly by celestia. Arresting soarin did not cause the unrest which celestia is currently afraid of. That was built up over time.

And the prime disagreement in that moment between twilight and celestia is that twilight wanted to convince everyone that celestia was human and normal and forgivable and celestia outright refused that. That's why twilight gives a speech which appeals to kindness in general, because she was creating a new shared narrative which united the power of the masses, not just the gays. Since celestia refused to accept anything other than stomping down on the masses, soarin was simply an example of the same opressive forces which also crushed twilight.

Twilight wanted desperately to make fiends with power, and power said no, so she made friends with everyone else.
