G4 is going to be rebooted.
It will be an adventure fantasy series which takes established characters and lore and shifts them around to be fresh.
It will have a more consistent approach to its lore and be more of a fantasy series than slice-of-life one.
Twilight will be an earth pony
Pinkie Pie will be a pegasus
Celestia will be Queen celestia not princess
Derpy will be forced to wear an eyepatch
Dr.Whooves will have more blatant Doctor who references including living in a blue house with an off-handed remark that it looks bigger on the inside
Bat-ponies will be seen multiple times
They will recycle the evil brother plotline cut from the movie and make him into a 2 season antagonist
Scorpan, the real Grogar and the 3 witches from G1 will be reused
Manehattan like any other city will have a more consistent tech level, magic-steampunk over 1920s, think flim & flam's devices

I would like to see spinoffs set in a season 2 g4 equestria, but don't effect g4.

A rugrats type show following the cake twins and other foals.

A full Daring Do series, lean fully into a 90's generic african / south american jungle exploration theme with temples full of traps and bad guys and all that fun stuff.

A sitcom set in either ponyville, or canterlot, that follows classic family sitcom tropes, but with a nuclear family of ponies in equestria.

A crime drama parody of like CSI or House, but set in equestria, with full on cases and made up word salad mumbo jumbo, with all the crimes being silly and kid friendly, candy theft, jay walking, etc.

A sports team building series like any good sports anime, focused on the wonderbolts.

An office style series following Celestia and Luna, and their staff in the day to day life of running a castle and nation always on the brink of collapse, thankfully unnoticed by the ponies, could be themed around changeling infiltration drones collecting info for the queen, with the queen growing increasingly concerned for the ponies as she sees the actual internal workings of bureaucracy barely held together paper clips and rubber bands.

There are many ways to spin the world made for g4 that could work perfectly if hasbro gave a fuck.
