Good morning, my remaining anons!
Thanks for making this the best first Mare Fair and Ponycon for me and so many others! The immense generosity and welcoming of total strangers from Day one for anons of no context made me realize there likely won't be another convention that trumps this one that isnt a direct sequel. The laser focus on pony as a central theme was perfect and even the chants of Mares are something so special and though post con depression hasn't hit just yet, I can fully feel it on the horizon. Being able to post in thread while attending panels, dances, or playing games felt like having a live chat open at all times. The creativity on display of the Mare Gallery art, and Bored Room games and puzzles are super inspiring and show just how amazing anonymous "nobodies/literally who's" can be. That generosity also makes a comeback with all the stickers people just leave out for the taking, the Mintals, mixtapes(in a 1gb drive fully customized cassette shaped form!), and the countless folks just doing sketches for each other while talking about the show and their lives.

I dont know when it will happen, but when tears fall, I want you all to know its from sheer joy.

Just landed home after a long flight back to Europe. This was also my first con and I had a great time! All the panels and room parties were really fun to be part of. Too bad I missed the closing ceremonies, I'd like to see the animation. I've been lurking the board since it's birth but first time took part of the activities. Even the cringe was manageable.

While those were my first panels, I learned there's a ton of shit that go wrong.
Files get corrupted, wifi goes out and I get told I have to pay for it (lamo IT had free wifi for panelists but someone got bad info,) no power plugs for laptops, told to bring mine because they can't always supply them, I really underestimated how close I have to be to the mics, etc.
I'm glad I picked safe panel choices for easy improv.
I'd do it again, but next time I'm going to keep a closer connection to IT because I know what to expect and prepare better backups.
