>You pull into the parking lot and make your way inside. You see her sitting in a back corner with her hood over her head with just a drink in front of her. You walk back to her and sit across from her. You could tell she’d been crying seeing that her eyes were puffy and red.
“H-hey. You okay?”
>You ask as you sit down
>”I’m scared, Anon. I don’t know what to do! I can’t go back there, at least not tonight. If I’d stayed she may have really hurt me. She takes my dad leaving out on me constantly and when she gets drunk she gets violent. Tonight was the worst id seen her.”
>She starts crying again.
>”I hate it so much!”
>She turns away from you trying to hide her tears.
>You gently take her hand that’s resting on the table.
“Look… maybe we can figure something out, at least for tonight. I agree it’s not safe for you to go back home.”
>She turns back to you, wiping her eyes.
>”Figure out what? Where else am I gonna go?”
“I-I’m not sure yet but..”
>You look at her with a soft smile
“Are you hungry? I’m hungry. How about we eat since we’re here. My treat.”
>She hesitates.
>”N-no I-I…”
>She looks up at you
>“A-are you sure? I’m okay…”
“Trixie, have you eaten anything since lunch? Don’t lie either.”
>You ask her giving her a fake stern look
>”W-well… No…”
“Dinner is on me then!”
>You take her hand and lead her to the front counter insisting she orders whatever she wants.
