Finally back down under from MF (and burgerland as a whole) and I think I've managed to avoid both con crud and PCD.
Worst crud I did feel was a tickly sinus, which I'm pretty sure is from being at a place that has ACTUAL AC instead of a piddly portable "cooler" that barely does the job. Figure that going back and forth with the FL humidity didn't help, either.
As for PCD, the amped up high I was riding during and just after MF is starting to wane, but I still feel so much better than I have in literal years about anything, to the point where I'm already starting to put work into at least one project I want to have done in time for next MF. I love being able to look over at my plush twins, and get a bug dumb smile on my face, remembering all the fun times that were had this year.

Still need to get off my ass and nab a good pic of my haul this year. Spent something close to 1.2K dollarydoos on nothing but MARES!

I think its fitting, MF shouldn't attempt to get rid of them all together. I feel the same way about a number of the cultural things at Mare Fair that lead to some confusion for those who are used to the way normal cons work. But it, understandably, is controversial even within our own anon shitposting, particularly since it wasnt only cute SFW and suggestive images available.
FFC has my support as far as allowing it to happen, but MF shouldn't be put into a situation where they have to deal with even more BS from people who don't want it around. And frankly nobody is willing to admit just how popular it was.

NAACP was cool with us, and often found us interesting. They understood some bad actors show up, but enjoyed having us around.

I'll provide some context of how the panel ended up the way it did.
1.) my dumb ass was on four hours sleep because of rehearsals and the like
2.) A bunch of in person attendees showed up that I didn't expect
3.) instead of having only 20 couples and actually having time to go through the motions and meme a bit. I had to rush the script as there was more like 65 couples including the impromptu overflow panel that afternoon.
4.) I had my PTS lines in my head hence all my fuck ups

I know what I need to do next year to improve. I had a good long chat with some of my predecessors which was good. My first one is in the program make sure it is known that it is "see anons that have made the ultimate commitment to love etc etc" to confirm it is just sign ups only and offer an overflow of on the day weddings later that day or even the next day.
