This would be a great story for where usually luna would be caught up by celestia on government and taught current day culture by the mane 6

now it would be twilight and Cadence ruling with celestia and luna playing catch up with the other girls helping them catch up on current day culture

3 storylines:
twily and cady working together to keep equestria in order, cady knowing anon the longest, knows anon's process but when twilight sees how anon actually does things, she's horrified, she can't recognize any actual logic in his work, cadence explains he's been "winging it" for the past 1000 years

Celly and luna, while celestia is able to adapt better and lose her old ponish way of speaking, she still has her old assumptions, luna still has a way to go and still has a bad habit on unleashing the ROYAL CANTERLOT VOICE

Anon and Discord are just cut away gags, it can be the most bro things like digging holes or the most normal Perry the platypus sublot they accidentally stop a necromancer from raising an army by caving in their lair while digging

okay, admittedly, I'm a little stuck, but in a good way, because I have multiple options for how this green could continue, but I don't actually know which to go for
right now, there are three main things that I want to tackle in this story, because I think they'd be fun and/or cute
>Anon and Rainbow go to Sugarcube Corner, meet some of the others, establish some more of Anon's friendships with them, tell Twilight about how he binned Celestia's letter and we get some Spergelight freaking out
>Anon and Rainbow visit Hot Stuff's again, would probably be a side tangent thing or part of a shorter green update, could be before or after Canterlot
>Rainbow follows Anon to Canterlot cause of course she will, they get up to some shenanigans there and Anon meets with Celestia
now the great thing is that these are not the only ideas I have, I have ideas for future updates including Nightmare Night among others, but it's this immediate update that I'm not sure on
like, I could have the first two, be short flashbacks that happen on Anon and Rainbow's flight to Canterlot, but I'm not sure if people would like to see them fully fleshed out in their own updates
I normally just dive into my greens and let them form naturally, but I've been unsure on this update for a bit, and while I could figure it out myself I don't want to end up taking so long that you guys think I died again
once I have a solid answer I can probably roll out an update pretty quick

Personally I'm pretty interested to read of Anon accidentally causing a full spergelight moment, though I feel like Anon would probably want to make sure Hot Stuff's family as soon as he reasonably could.

Don't know if that spitfire practice writefag is still reading these threads, but one idea you could go for is having Earth Pony Anon treat Spitfire like a normal pony- not because he just wants to be nice, but because he genuinely has no idea who she is.

Seeing this as a breath of fresh air, Spitfire is interested in Anon and wants to know more about him. The story could then focus on their relationship and how it evolves- Spitfire trying to maintain her own life without scaring Anon away with her fame, and Anon discovering and trying to understand Spitfire's life despite being from a completely different lifestyle (and that doesn't include the cultural differences between due to their different races)

I like to think that at the begininng Discord was just using the outsider as a means to free himself and return as Lord of Chaos.

Where as Anon's had his own plans, he knows who Discord is, and had no plans to even free or help him, yet in the end they unironically become friends.

United the pony races not by harmony but by hatred of other races. Took advantage of ponykind's negative traits for infighting and turned it into outfighting. He didn't redeem Discord by accident, instead, Discord is encouraged to continue his chaotic ways against the other creatures.
