I didn't get a chance to say this in the previous thread, but thank you for what you've done. I saw some of what was happening and hoped she'd be ok but got caught up in a medical incident. No time to see how filly did and I'm so very happy she went to a good home. She certainly needs some comfy PJs, which I can provide if you decide you want things sent her way. The whole situation was crazy, man. Day 1 of MF3 I saw all the anonfilly plushies that were there and I was bummed cause I missed my chance to order my own lol. Later that con weekend I see anonfilly (Now frankenfilly), fly right by me with its plushie guts allover the place at the rave. It is very likely you will see me at MF4. If you see me walking around with her, feel free to chat with me before she goes to the auction to raise funds for rescued horses. I'm hoping that there will be some art/merch of Frankenfilly so I can be reminded of her when she goes to a good home.

I know this threads about frankenfilly, but this is the only mare-fair related thread on the board, so I’m sorry for posting this here, but I absolutely had to get it off of my chest, but I think I developed a crush on a cosplayer at the fair… and I was so stupid not to talk to her more
I saw her first at the cosplay contest, picrel is what I remember her cosplay being, it was like a wolf-derpy getup, and I thought it was the coolest thing in the world, and on top of that, she had the most beautiful accent I’ve ever heard on a woman… I think about it so often
I talked to her during the plush meetup, but I was extremely hungover, and I was so nervous by how so pretty she was, so I could only muster a compliment and an awkward “haha yeah, sorry I’m hungover” — and she seemed like a total sweetheart, I was just too scared to ask for her contact or anything else about her.
I know there’s a near zero chance she browses the board, let alone read this, but I wanted to get it off my mind.

It's the pigment which the thread has been coloured with that's just fluorescent. Sometimes it's specific effect people go for, but most of the time it's just accidental side-effect like first run fillies have their whole fabric dyed with that stuff. I have a set of cheap embroidery thread, like 60-80 spools of different hues and there's one random color which glows hard under UV light, none else of them do it. That stitching is super neat effect and I love how happy little accidents just pile up on this filler.

I had a super vivid, alcohol withdrawal induced dream a few weeks after Mare Fair that involved plushie destruction, it was scary as fuck at the time.
>At some upscale resort venue seemingly targeted at rich people/old people
>Built in almost a Dymaxion house shape but at a larger scale, multiple shops/things in an enclosure with a "ride" that was more of a moving open-air dining area on elevated track, it might have had multiple car types
>Had an isolated area for the upper crust of the rich in either the center or exiting the toroid on one side
>Would be pretty cool honestly if it didn't have "tourist trap for older boomers" vibe
>Some sort of company, maybe my employer, was contracting some company to hold like a professional development thing
>Guy in charge of this was painfully eccentric in a way that just makes you uncomfortable
>We were going to like act out some plot and take photos (more on this later)
A few branches here before the climax
>One is fuzzier and somehow involved some old people, one of them I was kind of helping, and the old people had like these liquid sacs they were carrying that was some sort of technology that helped them
>One of them bursts and gets this fluid everywhere, somehow I understand this is serious trouble for the old person and we're trying to get them to help, and they're coming around with IIRC these machines that would clean a section of floor and leave like a monogram or something behind on the floor as a "cleaning certificate"
>The second got me a lot more angry, was outside an airport and was working with some construction people to move some props for this play thing we were putting on
>I was helping them somehow move around a cargo plane with all the ground unloading stuff all attached, might've been a miniature but weird dream physics
>Some sort of disagreement on moving this large item, I get it on this platform and it slides off the side or something
>The crew working on this were with the hereto referred to as "antagonist company" putting on this event are super pissed at me saying I now have to coordinate moving this thing
>Have my Lyra plushie with me (more on that later) and I'm trying to find some way down from this platform and I end up going of the side, hit the ground without getting hurt with her landing nearby, grab her and threaten to kill any of these organizers if they keep fucking with me
>There was actually a third cutaway that had less to do with the event, I'm working on cleaning out my grandpa's house with my aunt after he died, she leaves and I'm with someone buying the house who keeps asking me about random shit like bits of dried up cheese that he finds on the floor

>Everyone including me freaks out because we know this was agreeing to the "plush dismantlement" or whatever, company people are much less concerned and one says this is a "minor setback" or something, one person staying behind jumps off the side of the staircase at a risky height to get ahead out of concern
>Wake up as we're all going downstairs, not knowing Lyra's condition and not having seen any of this happen yet, but knowing it's my fault for suggesting we get food and not having a plan
I knew I'd get attached to a plushie of my wife before I got her, but feeling responsible for my own and others' plushie destruction is fucking horrible. I now know what it feels like to have an overactive protective instinct I guess.
