Shit chart. S5 to underrated, S6 to neutral (in what world is it overrated lmao), switch S8 and S9 (or maybe just S8 to bad), S4 to neutral or maybe underrated and we could start having a discussion. IMO S3 to bad, too, but that's a hot opinion these days probably. Also S1 belongs in overrated, at least in addition to good.

Rating the seasons will be the discussion that will keep the lights on this board long after G9 bombs because Hasbro won't ever put effort into pony ever again. It's infinite content, it can change every time you watch the show again, it can change based on what criteria is being used, and then you add offboarders with a wildly different taste into the mix and then you have endless discussion.
But to add to your image, your list is almost correct, S4 and S6 just need to swap places

I tend to think S9 has slightly more decent episodes, but that's also why the better option would be to just put both in bad. Arguably they're both somewhat underrated/overhated here but that doesn't change that they're both very bad so that's where they belong, everything else is too hot an opinion for a chart like this.

Not counting the two parters and the epilogue, I think S8 has more bad episodes while S9 has blander ones, you can plot half of S9 right on S6 and it wouldn't be out of place

I dunno. S8 has a lot of dogshit episodes in comparison to S9. Although the good episodes in S8 are fucking bangers, but the bad episodes are really fucking bad. S9 has 1 really bad episode IMO 2,4,6, Greaaat makes me want to fuck myself in the eye-socket with a rusty railroad spike. Besides that you could say some S9 episodes were mid at worst.

switch 89 with 9 and 4 with 3 and this is the truest shit ever. Im sorry but season 8 is like the only season I genuinely think is straight up bad. there is little to any redeeming quality about it. there are episodes that i straight up forget happned in season 8. meanwhike season 3 is like, fine, but its generally way to just passed over and season 4 gets the brunt of the hate even though its really not bad at all and has some great episodes in its latter half.
