Sometimes I dream about having irl pony friends to hangout with and game and share art with. I have a great group of long term friends who I'm sure wouldn't treat me much different if I opened up about my pony obsession, but there just wouldn't really be any upsides to doing so either. It's not like they would join in the pony, they would just poke fun at me a bit and think I'm weirder. If we ever drift apart or I move away or something I would probably try to seek out ponyfags as new friends, but it seems the reality of it is that they'd probably be huge fags that I wouldn't actually like lol. I've been going down the Chinese MLP merch rabbit hole recently.
It's crazy how much better of a job Kayou has done in just a couple of years with their licensing agreement than Hasbro did in a decade and a half.
They even gave Pony Life, of all things, a decent amount of love. They have an entire set dedicated to it for their collectible cards, and even gave Shim and Glim semi-official PL designs+figures (that aren't garbage like the 'Pony Friends' line).
Every time a decently competent company manages to get a hold of this IP, they strike gold, and it keeps building up my frustrations with Hasbro.
I know it's probably a bad idea to dwell on what could've been, but those thoughts do come back to me on occasion. I suppose I can only hope that one day at least one Hasbro exec gets their head screwed on straight and gives their franchises the care that they deserve.

That being said, I am curious about you guys' thoughts on things like this.
Also, is there an MLP product (licensed or otherwise) that you would like to see or would've wanted years ago during FiM's run? Doesn't have to be regular merch. Games, music, etc. you name it.

I like cute mares doing cute things. I want to raise a filly and take on a marewife and give gifts during Hearthswarming. I’ve written several greentexts and drawn shitty MSPaint doodles that some of you have reposted. That made me happy. It made me feel like I had finally done something worthy.

Just so you know, even though I had fun for the first 2 seasons of the anni, I was not enjoying anything past that point. I knew the later seasons were shit, but the crowd that came after felt unwelcoming and shitty, and if I did just set bells on videos I wanted to watch, and block the video player in the meantime, I'd still have feelings of distaste and regret. It would become upsetting, my time is better spent elsewhere. So I felt alone, it felt like there was no broader community during that anni or mutual care for each other. I was getting fed up and clearly the admins didn't care.
On the topic of the anni post s2, by next year, I'm praying the EQG block will be removed and chat spam slowed down. This will facilitate a actual sense of people being there and not just chat spamming a specific emote whenever something happens, so no one has to see :bazinga:, :chad:, :baconbounce:, :sunbeam: etc, if they don't want to.
