I feel like Pinkie actually would make for a fantastic showpony and has accidentally been one just by wanting to entertain crowds before. Her charisma likely would've captured the audience and if she showed her up, Trixie's previous ego in her performance might make the crowd turn on her since the proud one is being made to eat shit.

That being said, if you follow the theory that Trixie was arrogant and leaning into it more as part of a character on stage and is actually a pretty scheming business pony, she would have leaned into it and appreciated Ponk for providing such an engaging duo show and whatever extra profits she would have gotten from the help. I just find it crazy how the pony who is faster than Rainbow Dash, has a form of precognition via her Pinkie Sense, and her other uncanny abilities wasn't given the chance. In fact, she didn't get any lines in the episode. I always thought she should have had a part in the episode, even if it was just her being cute <3. Of course I am a poknfag so I might be a teeny weenie bit biased.
