Nah I have like 400 colored pencils. I’ve maxed out three different brands, that color is what I wanted.
My dragons are newer so they don’t really have tons of backstory. Only a few have anything and it’s not super solid. I made them without a narrative they belong in, it’s rougher than my older characters.
For her personality, Io is a sociopath in the traditional dragon way, she’s self indulgent and lacks regard for others, she enjoys getting away with anything she can, she’s always been that way, making her bigger than her peers, her strong personality and willingness to test and fight made her a leader by dragon standards but everybody was uncomfortable with her and knew she was kinda unhinged. It wasn’t like garble and his crew where they all push each other around, she made people nervous
She may have eventually been banished from the dragonlands for crossing a line, I’m not sure
Flicker is a teen dragon who’s halfway quadrupedal but not fully there, she’s a bit of a wallflower, does more watching than doing. She has good control of her fire she can probably do some neat tricks with it. (I should figure out what colors all of them have)
Sizzle is pretty blank but I’d say she’s kinda up beat lazy goofy type. She’s not necessarily main character material, she’s kinda got friend of protagonist vibes as is. Which I think her colors fit. Some background dragons look pretty weird.
I do want to play around with proportions like with flicker for teens but I don’t want to make anything just outright ugly like clump or backdraft, though, they look ridiculous
