Anyone that works or has worked in a professional recording studio since at the very least the 90s (but more like the 80s), either as an engineer, producer, session player, name it, probably even the janitor at the studio, has the worst taste in music on the planet. I finally listened to Steely Dan’s first album to see what all the hype was about, only to find out that they wrote a bunch of classic rock radio staples that I knew but just didn’t know who performed them.
