/xxr/ - Extreme/Experimental Rock
A thread for extreme, abrasive, technical, progressive, or experimental music under the rock umbrella. This includes metal, hardcore, experimental rock, noise rock, and others. Music that is mainstream, "alternative", novelty-driven, "proggy" but not progressive, or not rock music in any sense, is discouraged.
>Is [genre/band/album] fit for /xxr/?
Maybe not. Put away your personal love of that music and look at it objectively.

Shameful parasitic behavior.

Never heard of them, but I'm willing to listen. Is the first album where they're good, or the second too?

Listened to the debut. Very nice to listen to outside in warm and sunny weather. Highly atmospheric while still having enough melodies to keep it from being pure background music. Cool use of atmoblack ideas in a non-metal context too.
Maybe the more post-rock album you posted fits as experimental rock-descended music, but I'm unsure about this one. I guess that's my error. Still, thanks.

I like the firs two yeah.
Very post-rock but well done post-rock. Pred is them getting all proggy and experimental with it.

Mostly just wanted to talk about something that annoyed me anyway, genre lines be damned
