Overplayed garbage. I’m so tired of hearing their same 3 hits over and over

What are the 3 hits?

Singer has a stupid voice. Did that shitty cover of spoonful sounding like the biggest dweebs on Earth.

They only have two hits.
Sunshine of your love and white room. Both are terrible

Studio versions sound weak
Live versions sound nice and heavy and solos are much more vibrant but the singers both sound perpetually winded.
It was unfortunate having to accept this band is actually not good..

I only listened to 2 songs by them. White room and sunshine of your love

clapton was the weak link in the band
also, they were terrific players, but their music was nothing outstanding
it's funny that Ginger Baker thought they were the greatest and most creative act of all time, when they were just your plain blues rock band from the 60s

Ginger Baker was deranged and his opinions on anything are worthless.

They WERE the best blues rock band of that time, though, no one denies it. Maybe Hendrix fans.

The Jimi Hendrix Experience was leagues above Cream in every aspect, except for the bass player (Noel Redding was mediocre, and Jack Bruce was brilliant)
but even for blues rock standards, there very little that was really interesting on most Cream records
Blind Faith was a much better project

>Blind Faith was a much better project
Absolutely not, what a lame blues rock endeavor, as if they didn't have enough of that at the time. Go listen to Rory Gallagher for that shit. Disrael Gears soars about it. Very little that was interesting apart from the sound and songs, yeah. kek

still better and more solid than anything Cream managed to put out
>Go listen to Rory Gallagher for that shit.
his Taste albums were quite nice, not sure what you're on about
I don't even dislike Cream, just think they're vastly overrated
>Disrael Gears soars about it. Very little that was interesting apart from the sound and songs, yeah. kek
a couple of songs on each album are nice, the rest is just repetitive uninteresting blues crap
Wheels is the better Cream album, though

Hardly.
>not sure what you're on about
They're alright but nowhere near Cream is the point, also not very interesting musically.
>they're vastly overrated
They're not, they're vastly underrated and Hendrix is wacked off.
>repetitive uninteresting blues crap
You're thinking of the majoirty of your Hendrix collection.

They had 3 top 40 hits. Crossroads was also another one and I will hear on classic rock radio.

he sucked ass
funny that he played with the greatest guitar player in the world, a gig that a lot of musicians would die for, but decided "fuck it, I'm gonna get my own thing going", and funded the shittiest blues rock band ever

Hendrix was also a shitty singer compared to Bruce. Bruce mogged 2/3 of Hendrix' band.

They’re great but if you actually pay attention you’ll hear that Bruce wants a prog rock band and Clapton wants a pure blues band.

Go listen to Jack Bruce solo and Derek and the dominos to see what cream should have been

I found that Sunshine of Your Love sounds a little bit like Megalovania.
Anonymous No.126733885
White Room and Sunshine of Your Love are good songs, that's where my interest ends with them. Im glad they inspired the beatles and black sabbath to make better music. Eric Clapton is overrated
