What did you think of last night's concert /mu/?

Trent's voice been out of grit for years now, why does that even surprise you? His screams sounds like Ethan Klein since Hesitation Marks at least.
Honestly the band sounds fantastic and Trent's a weak link vocally, it's really sad, I wish he could do something about it, if he can. He really doesn't sound good for the material given. He is a good signer these days but that doesn't fit most of the live stuff. Power from his voice is gone and every time I hear it, it makes me sad.

Overal, the only big twist were the remixes, other than that, it's your standard NIN affair but this time without any big album to support. It's not very eventful nor really exciting.

There is this thing he does every time he shouts, he kind of extends the scream to make it sound as lame as possible

I absolutely hate that and he does it all the time, it sounds so awful. And I feel insane because almost no one else complains about it, a lot of people pretend like Trent still "got it" vocally wise, yet he doesn't. I get he's 60 but c'mon there must be better alternatives to this

I've had a busy few weeks so it's only just hit me I'm seeing them tomorrow and I'm now very excited. Only downside is there's no trams running to the arena cause public transport in this city is a joke.

I actually did have the tickets to London show and I've wanted to see NIN live for over 12 years but something always happens and I can't make it. This time I voluntarily sold tickets because the tour smelled like a cashgrab. Glad that's been confirmed. So Trent decided to do a bigass tour based on the concept of him now being buddy buddy with Boys Noize. Big woop. Pre-hiatus was the last time I was really hype for everything Trent does.
That said, it takes a very admirable kind of autismo to come out of 3 years radio silence and open your big return show with an existential piano ballad LOL

Saw a few videos from the Dublin show, Trent Vocals are really weak and the band lack passion and energy. Setlist is what you would expect from a NIN show minus Vessel, truly nothing special.
Might be the right time to finally call it quits and stick to ost work with buddy Atticus for good this time.

The biggest problem is that NIN is shit and every song is the essentially same. There hasn't been any progression since The Fragile and you can't polish a turd as they say.
