This album has aged like fine wine and stands as U2's best and most musically adventurous album. Every song hits like a brick. Tracks like One, Ultraviolet, and Love is Blindness are some of the band's most emotionally soul-scraping achievements.

I prefer Zooropa and I think that one is more adventurous overall, but I admit Achtung Baby is a more solid album.
I was a teenager when Achtung Baby came out, the first time I heard Even Better Than The Real Thing come on the radio, I thought there was something wrong with the broadcast.

Great Album.
I was fortunate enough to hear most of the songs live
During the ZOOTV tour in Nov. 93.
Best concert experience of my life.

There's nothing approaching electronica on Achtung Baby, maybe you're thinking of Zooropa. Achtung Baby always sounded like a ton of bricks to me.
U2’s best work. Every song is different from the next but it all holds together perfectly. Contains some of their biggest hits and their best deep tracks. It’s so sonically colorful nothing short of a masterpiece and pretty handily their greatest work.
Also Pearl Jam ripped the album cover off with No Code.

I tried listening to it and got very bored all of the songs kinda blended into one. I like the intro to Where the Streets Have no Name and Vertigo and Beautiful Day are kino in a cringe way but apart from that I think I just don't like U2's music.
