Before the gig when they played a Linkin park song and other radio """metal""" songs everyone was singing and clapping and I was just standing there like wtf.
Met with a group after, one dude who was playing drums for 6 years was praising the Lorna shore drummer saying no one can show him a dude who's faster and more precise than him. I didn't even bother saying anything but when be brought up Joey Jordison as the best drummer I just started laughing and making fun of his upside down gimmick. He also brought up Rise against I told him about Ignite. Neither of them has heard of them. Or Discharge. Or Judas priest. Or The exploited. Or Slayer. Or Cannibal corpse. I don't think I brought up a single band they've heard about, what the fuck. They kept going on about Linkin park and shit like that. Chick told us that she has a tattoo below her tits, one of those awful fucking ones that looks like a chandelier I just told her to pull her top up I want to see it.
