I like post-BNE Paramore quite a bit, but I think Josh was justified to some degree. Some of the lyrics on Brand New Eyes are strange from a Christian perspective like Hayley singing "The truth never set me free, so I did it myself." I know she said that "truth" in the lyric is referring to the falsehood that others peddle as truth, but it did seem to be an unnecessarily provocative lyric.
