The only pop duo that matters in the current musical climate. I enjoy their tuneful, unique, and oddly psychedelic sound. No other artists have been able to evoke millenium-era optimism and maximalism without making it sound derivative or cringeworthy.
This is the most beautiful album since the 90's easily, I have fallen in love with it. Everything about it is perfect and I really hope these two don't sell out because they're exploding right now. I noticed just yesterday they enabled ads on YouTube for the first time and it's a little disconcerting.

Isn't that just one guy? In any case, his music doesn't really do anything for me. It's not bad, but I don't find it particularly original or engaging.
Why is life so heinously unfair that we don't all get our own Mica whose tummy we can lick every night? I just want to meet my own Mica, is there any hope?
Anyway, I can't FUCKING believe how good Cry for Me & Watching TV are, they are the best songs made in decades, to me anyway.
Great album. That's my floor, the closer, half the album is way better than any indie pop has any right to be. Whole thing makes you feel good. They should collab with st Vincent her fuzzy guitars would mesh well

Watching TV is just unreal. You can really feel the weirder side of Genesis in that one. I dunno why but it reminded me of The Lamia in how beautiful but scary it is. Same theme of being devoured alive in a euphoric/orgasmic way, or accepting an uglier side of yourself

It's sad that I automatically think that its more about how hot the girl in the band is than actual good music. This place has fucked up coomer people
Vampire in the corner, am I scaring you off?
Oh, I wanna dance, I wanna learn how to love
Someone call the coroner 'cause you're breaking my heart
My God... I think I mighta loved you too much

I really love their music videos. Honestly, I think the music is just okay, nothing really special, but that's not a putdown and I wish them their creative best.

it's actually just not. Their first... EPs? Did they even release a complete album before this? Was fucking great. Oh Hell is one of my favorite songs. but this disc shit was really not good.

lol what the fuck it's literally the exact opposite for me. I love the music, but their videos and live act are really ill-conceived, juvenile and cringe.
You have absolutely fucking dogshit taste.

Thatβs exactly why we like them. Iβm so fuckin sick of cheesy ass βdeepβ videos of people grimacing at the camera and stick footage of forests.
