Bugy were supposed to break through in the early 2000s but refused to sign with major labels. Their album run from 99 to 2008 is fantastic, after that they moved from alt-rock/punk to indie(on record, live versions of those songs sound way more aggressive). Saw them this year in Osaka, fantastic show, Yukiko cuts through the mix like no other.
