Anything "punk" after the 80s is a imitation of punk. First it was the Ramones who introduced the sound, the sex pistols added upon that and also gave punk fashion the look, and the clash and the damned also contributed.
The actual album is a great rock and roll album with hooks and crunchy riffs. Them being a "boyband" doesn't have an impact on the quality of music
