If they never broke up, what would their next record after Abbey Road look like?

The 70s made everything gay, they probably would have done some funk or disco shit and pissed all over their legacy

Harrison would’ve gotten 2-3 tracks in. Paul and John would write 2 cynical songs together and gotten annoyed in the process. The rest of the songs would be mostly independent songs written by Paul or John following the styles of their independent careers. Ringo would enter his dark years.

Really beautiful writing! Have you considered using this skill to your advantage outside of boyband fan canon?

This guy does a fairly decent job of guesstimating that.

Ironic coming from the abject loser who sits waiting for Beatles threads all day to say
>stop liking what I don't like reeeeee
How does it feel to be a living joke? Kek

John Lennon regretted ever making all those high production albums and says the best Beatles songs were made by the Beatles before they ever started recording albums. Look up the interview on youtube that he did with Tom Snyder back in the 70s

John Lennon chatted a lot of shit and you can't take anything he said in the 70s seriously

disco was late 70's
they woul dhave made their next album in the early 70's ---- just imagine if they heard Dark SIde of the Moon, and reacted the way they did to Pet Sounds

all-time masterpiece incoming

If I had to guess, it would've sounded a bit like All Things Must Pass, but with more of John's minimalist style songs sprinkled in.

At least someone realises they were the Metallica of their era: jumping on bandwagons. The difference is, Metallica actually contributed to a subversive musical scene

Probably something in between the weird shit Lennon did and the more straightforward rock stuff McCartney did
So probably something prog album in the Pink Floyd vein

Paul splits in every timeline. i and others have already confirmed.
their is one timeline only of note. Paul leaves and they get Alan White and Ringo dual drumming (Ringo backseat driving) and some unknown black american bassist to make a soulful All things must passesque Prog album. Yoko and Bill Preston are fulltime members.
essentially Klaatu with ELO. one of the tunes is an early Metal Machine music thing that gets the No Wave scene real horny.

who knows? Maybe more political, likely very influenced by the music which were enjoying at that time, like reggae, disco and maybe punk rock would have interested them to try...
