With over 100 stages and thousands of acts and artists, Glastonbury is an absolute behemoth. It sprawls like a temporary city across the rolling farmlands of lovely Somerset in the South West of England.

It is possibly the most magical festival in the entire world, with a huge variety of performing arts, all the way from Wednesday to the Ketamine comedown hell of several DJ sets finishing at 6am on Monday morning. Whilst the headliners might not quite be the most interesting every year, the strength of depth is where it is, with artists that would be fairly high up the billing elsewhere not even being mentioned on the Glasto poster because there's too many.

That Friday might be the worst designed Friday I have ever seen at a music festival what were they thinking. Horsegirl then what? So 6 hour wait until Franz Ferdinand? Look at how backloaded it is and it doesn't do anyone any favors. En Vogue and Osees are really similar and splits the generations too much. People would love to see Alanis, Gracie, Pinkpantheress at different times, they shouldn't have to fight or make huge compromises. Never once bought a ticket, you just found a hole in the fence on friday and they stopped even checking tickets by sat, the official capacity was like 80k per day but there was easily 3/4x that.
Almost never watched any big bands or went to the big stages either, was more fun to take E's and acid and wander around making friends in random hippy fields and rave tents, only normies watched the big bands, back then you went to Reading to see bands and went to glasto just for the buzz (only exception was always seeing the Prodigy).
It was all peace, love and good vibes until scouser scumbags found their way down there.
Stopped going after they put the big fence up.
