Part of growing up means realizing Lady Gaga actually had some bangers

She's was the creative director of Polaroid. Now... I like some of the Ga Ga songs too but what the fuck did she know about cameras?
Anonymous No.126835164 [Report]
I'd banger Lady Gaga if you know what I mean.

The Fame/The Fame Monster are killer pop albums. So good in fact that they've basically sustained her career even as she put out inferior albums and acted in shitty movies.

every single track on the fame monster is top-tier pop, it's basically the immaculate collection except not a compilation (which, ironically, it kind of is)

Part of growing up means realizing that Fame is better than Fame Monster and Paparazzi is her best song.

She really does. The Fame/TFM still hold up today and Born This Way is underrated (the BTW song is mid though). Don't care much for most of her ballads including any of the songs she made for that movie (Shallow is alright live I guess and that Top Gun song is good but overrated) so I basically stopped caring about anything she put out after Artpop, which was messy but fun. Are Mayhem and Chromatica worth a listen? Is any of her Jazz shit any good?

The Fame Monster>The Fame>Artpop>Mayhem>Born This Way>>>>>Joanne>Chromatica

Hetero, btw

what you make of the talk that Gaga's boyfriend controls her in some sort of contract and she is restricted from doing lots of things because she can't leave him?

Chromatica is very bland and generic 90s house music with none of the elements that made her first few albums really good and Mayhem has a few decent songs but it's mostly just 80s throwbacks that are made to follow the nostalgia trend. As for her Jazz stuff that depends if you like Jazz or not I find them to be pretty boring but if you like Jazz standards you will probably like it. I personally much prefer her first few pop albums and think that's her best work still.

>makes rubbish pop music indistinguishable from Britney Spears, Backstreet Boys or TLC

>poptimism starts

This 100%

I'm so sick of hearing about 3% of the population, who no one oppresses, while they simultaneously reproduce by touching children...
If the pop stars don't suck off the gays, their (((masters))) will deplatform them
It's very forced and artificial

Gaga used to be despised when she was at her most popular. Like, Justin Bieber levels of hate up until about 2012.

I don't know about him controlling her. But he is a multi billionare and owns a shitton of businesses. I wouldn't be surprised if he's the reason behind her current career resurgence, but then again, she has put out some good stuff recently (compared to the past decade).

Hmmm I been thinking the same lately. It's too bloated for me, and I agree on the title track, but I now appreciate some of the songs more than when they first dropped. I also didn't care for anything else she has done after, but I listened to mayhem. I liked it. It's not top tier but it was entertaining.
