I was really bummed as a teenager when they came close to my town but I had bronchitis and couldn't go. My Favorite Accident is 10/10.

Their music reminds me of being 14 and in my first relationship. She really liked their music.

i feel like thats their most famous track. I actually got to see them once in like i think 2010? 2011 maybe. They were doing shows where every night was one of the first three albums. it was awesome

I always thought The Future Freaks Me Out was their big single? It was the first song i ever heard from them so I'm sentimental over it. They're a great band and I hate I never got to see them way back when.

I've only heard of the song Everything Is Alright because it was featured on the soundtrack to a baseball video game that I played a lot of on the PS2 back in the mid-2000s. Great song and memories of really warm summer nights.

Oh definitely. I played a lot of sports games, mostly the MLB and NHL ones so I discovered a lot of music like that through them. "Believe" by The Bravery was another one I remember that was used on that soundtrack or from a year close to it. Hot Hot Heat had songs on a few games too. Tons of good shit.

I think like most of the college football games back then were soundtracked by Victory Records bands. It blew my mind finding that out. Never thought that would be how many people would find out about Spitalfield and shit. It was a simple time. Lots of good memories back then.

Wow that brings me back 20 years. They were on a few video game soundtracks but my favorite song by them was Let Me In which I think I just picked up off of alt rock radio. I thought they were a british NME-core band but I just looked them up and they're from western Canada (and apparently had a failed attempt at a reunion last year)

Hot Hot Heat were crazy underrated. The entire "Elevator" is awesome. "My Best Fiend" was also used... I think in one of the NHL games and that's one of my all time favourites too. The only big song I remember them having that was mainstream was "Middle of Nowhere" which was big for awhile on MuchMusic here in Canada.

Oh definitely. That game was huge for that entire generation. I'm not even that big of a gamer but playing it was just apart of life back then. If you haven't seen Tony's Amoeba Records video it's worth a watch and he talks a little about the soundtrack. It's good stuff.

I saw OK Go in vancouver last week and Steve Bays opened for them, he's got an album coming out next month.

Also Motion City Soundtrack have a new album coming out later this year in september I believe.

They were playing a show in my city a few years ago, and I was studying at the Starbucks a block away from the venue. The lead singer came in, doubled face masked with a pride Terry cloth wristband on, and I mentioned to him I knew who he was. He spoke to me in a panickly voice that he suffers from severe anxiety and that couldn't not really speak to me, then walked out. Weird as fuck.

i saw them live once over a decade ago. after wards they were hanging out on the street and talking to fans. the singer was barely talking cause he said he had to save his voice for the rest of the tour. i bowed to him as a joke and he smiled. was cool
