BSSM is a fine album, but the rest of their stuff is execrable.

Their an average band, good musicianship but the the songwriting and vocals aren't good.

Californication is my fav album of theirs

Pretty good band all their albums from BSSM to By the Way are good or pretty good. They got a lot of good sounding riffs cause of Frusciante.

Flea and Frusciante are talented but their skills are wasted on this band, the drummer is completely forgettable, and Kiedis is a massive douche. Overall, their music is very low value.

their okay but a lot of their albums have too many songs on them if they would've cut BSSM and Stadium Arcadium down to 12 songs you would've had great albums

I like them I think their a pretty good band their longevity is impressive and Frusciante and Flea are good musicians and their a band that has a lot of good riffs.

Kiedis is a pedo and can't sing and is an average songwriter they would have been better without him

Unironically like One Hot Minute the best. Their other albums might have single better tracks, but they're all so overloaded with otherwise mediocre songs that OHM clears for me.
Their early stuff is genuinely awful punkfunk, truly annoying shit. Don't know how they survived to become an alt rock band off of that.
Their recent stuff likewise is fucking awful.
Basically, they peaked in the '90s with BSSM, OHM and Californication, were okay with By the Way and Stadium Arcadium and then shat the bed.
But this is all opinions I'm recalling from when I actually listened to them ages ago. I don't even care for them at all nowadays. They were basically one of my gateways into music when I was a kid and I've moved on to greener pastures.

Great band, not always great songs or my thing. Navarro is one of my favorite guitarists for Jane's, but Frusciante kept the Strat iconic well into the 2000s. Can you even think of anyone else that was great Strat flavored songs that late? It isn't John Mayer btw.

This is only one I truly hate, because I hate people like this. And I used to be one. Young, vapid party/drug life...thinking you're on top of the world or some shit. Totally ignorant of all the pain those drugs cost in the making, distributing, and using of them.

Pure dogshit. Though some of their songs are listenable as instrumentals and I have to admit Under the Bridge is still a good song.
