Well, I agree this band isn't good and it's basically for girls and gay guys. Having said that, I only really discovered them or listened to them when playing Burnout 3, and the song in that game was quite good for arcade racing purposes. Otherwise, I'm completely lukewarm on them. They aren't important or unimportant enough to warrant strong emotion.

MCR by virtue of actually being good, and made relevant stuff in the 21st century, is better than >90% of punk, and almost all rock artists. People here are butthurt that nobody cares for the autistic obsession with metal, or diaper music from 50 years ago, uf anything they're jealous. MCR bodies >99% of the artists posted here, and their music mogs 100% of the recommendations this board gives, whether that's because they're very good, or due to the shitty taste this board has, is up for debate.

Linkin Park is a top 50 artist and have been for most of the 21st century and their album from last year got collectively got over a billion listens.

They're legit good. Well written songs, especially good guitar work. Their albums flow nicely, with the exception of Teenagers. I don't know what the fuck that was or how it fits into that album. It's fun to play on Touchtunes at the fucking VFW though.

I saw Frank Iero recently playing with L.S. Dunes. That guy is really fucking good. Honestly, the weakest link for MCR was Gerard's live singing.
