I remember a few years ago looking up videos of black dudes reacting to foreign rap music to see what the people from the culture that originated the genre think of them.
It quickly became apparent that none of those videos would satisfy my curiosity because no one in them is ever sincere about what they think, and just react in a way that's amusing to the people who like the music they're reacting to.
I tried to find some that would straight up talk shit, or at least give a balanced review of the pros and cons, but I never saw any (among the black reviewers but also among "expert reacts" types of other races).
The whole genre of video seems pretty useless desu.

I was watching this one guy the other day who only has like 50k subscribers. His vids were pretty good since he shits on a lot of music and actually goes through the lyrics. But then I checked his Patreon and realized he's making ~$40,000 a month which is nearly more money than subscribers he has. Now I'm jealous af and can't watch him anymore without seething lol.
