i actually listened to one of their songs for the first time today (the one with the video of them drinking and smoking in a pub, which means they're cool).

it's just generic pop-rap that sounds like something from 25 years ago. put the politics to one side, it's musically irrelevant. it's actually listenable in that i can hear what they're saying, and it has a verses and a chorus. but that's so not what i thought was meant to be "critically acclaimed" (which they seem to be, at least to some extent).
