I use a cardioid condenser mic for my classical guitar and vocals and a digital audio interface for direct input.

Use a DAW like Reaper and an inexpensive audio interface like a Scarlett 2i2 and you'll be able to record quite easily

The problem isn't even the voice, but that I don't like that style of rock (blues, stoner etc...) and there are WAY too many incomplete fillers, to bother rummaging through, e.g the only song I liked on the yellow gecko, was "blue dream", and on "spirit" potato chips/sobriety, I skip 90%. I'd just do a ranking based on the most liked ones, then work on the top 3 per album some more, and re-release with better vocals. Quality >>>quantity.
