Are AI bands/artists the future of music? It’s cheap and zoomers are so fucking pathetic they can’t play instruments let alone sing so I guess it has to resort to this.

It just illustrates the lack of a future for a service like Spotify. Streaming numbers bare out that most people aren't actively curating what they're listening to at all. It's just like the radio--except it's like modern radio in that its driven by a headless penny pinching robot that will serve you random sloppa in between real songs to pay nothing in royalties vs paying .000001 of a cent. 90% of people are not really interested in curating their own media, or in this case, selecting their own music. Letting an AI song slip under your nose on an auto-gen playlist while you're driving the car or fiddling away at your desk is one thing, but if there's anyone out there who was like "damn I really enjoy this" then they should be hung out to dry.

I don't know but some people seem to like this ai song from an yt ad

https://youtu.be/VBIDYGH1iRk?feature=shared

It's not like the internet opinion is very favorable but it's surprising that there are people out there that can dig this stuff. They might be bots though

I've noticed AI is better at negro music
But then I realized it's because negro music has zero standards and you were supposed to like it anyway otherwise you're racist

The music industry will be dead within 25 years, and the music genres we've enjoyed up to now, including pop, rock, etc... will become niches by the end of the century.

These, but the less that people are exposed to human and artistically-driven music, the less they'll be inspired to create for themselves.

I just looked and they now have the new lowest rated albums of all time on rateyourmusic. Its funny considering this is objectively better music than their all time #1.

I’ve literally realized this.
Since zooms grew up on rap music they literally can’t tell when someone actually knows how to play an instrument.
Unfortunately this is actually good enough for them.

should it matter what kind of music it is?
either it's an issue, or it's not

get the feeling your post was really just about you telliing us you're not the kind of guy to listen to music like that; that you're superior.

the sentiment behind my post is that its impossible for ai-generated music to ever become a serious issue, not that i'm better than everyone else. machines are incapable of replacing or taking away any of the artistic experiences worth valuing, where the humanity is integral. thats never going to change.

I love those comments just by how you can tell these are the people who have nothing going on in their head and are only driven by the desire to consume slop
>I usually skip ads but not this one, this is my jam! I love how I relate to this song being neurospicy myself. I usually get this ad too when I’m watching dubai chocolate reviews and labubu openings
