The great trilogy of the Teen Queens original of this song, the Chordettes, and the Fontane Sisters cover. I don't super-love the original because it's too maudlin and sounds like they're dying shit's depressing. the Chordettes brightened it up a little.

It's mind-bending to think that Elvis had seventeen (!) charting hits in 1956, several of which were million+ sellers, and he all by himself accounted for 60% of RCA's total revenues from record sales.
