No they're fucking garbage. Nickelback is unironically good though.

They are good, or at least Weathered is their only good album. They also put on a good concert. Mark Tremonti is a great guitarist, Scott is good at emotional honesty which I value, and the rythm section is tight.

Things are judged by comparison. Creed was a joke because they were being compared to the bands who came before them. They're considered good now when compared to almost everything that came after them.
