Nothing changed, just cherry picked examples here. Niggas were bitchin' 'bout whitey going to the moon instead of giving them welfare back in the 70s.
But generally speaking, NWA successfully monetized and normalized it. At this point, it's just contemporary shock rock.
'70s blacks were still partly pacified by the functional family-focused culture instilled into them in the time of segregation. The sexual revolution and their own liberty brought them closer to their essence, which is on average a savage and dysfunctional one. More than any other race, blacks need guidance and a hard hand from above.
