I'm not impressed by artists who released a single great album. Maybe it was just a fluke. In order to be considered the greatest of all time, I think you need to have released at least 4 great albums. Basically, artists like Television, Interpol, The Stone Roses, etc. are hacks who got lucky.

I've always felt that the second and third Interpol albums are more or less as good as the first. I have to say I can't really listen to Interpol in general these days though. It's a little too teenaged

4 is a bit much. I'd say 2 great and 1 or 2 good ones are ok to be impressive. Very few artists have 4 great albums.

Wrecking ball

Some of the other tracks are admittedly pretty weak. Heinrich Maneuver might also make the cut idk.

I will say that the album feels a lot more tired and worn out.

What if their one great album is actually late in their career, so they were building towards it the whole time?

Itโ€™s easier to count the bad Beach Boy albums frankly. Iโ€™d say they only made 6 bad ones(Carl and the Passions, M.I.U, Beach Boys, keeping the summer alive, Still Cruising, Summer in Paradise) and out of those only SIP is really bad the rest are mediocre and even then they have good stuff in them, Winds of Change of M.I.U is a great song. You could maybe chuck in LA light, I also donโ€™t really care for Love You but I know it has its fans
