correct, Sabbath created genres where the bands all sound like Sabbath, sometime exaggeratedly. Though I've heard it said Symptom of the Universe's main riff was the template for thrash metal.

The Beatles created it with I Want You (She's So Heavy). And by the way, that's the greatesr metal song ever.

Well, you're right about Motoread, but Judas Priest started out as a second rate Led Zepplin rip off, and not a very good one at that.
It was only later on that the got good when they decided to stop with all the hippy dippy trippy bullshit, and distort te guitars and play fast.
Even then, they didn't invent metal, though, but they most certainly improved on it.

When each and every original member of Black Sabbath are on their death bed, Sharon will ave them all cryongenically frozen, so she can thaw them out and have them play concerts when she feels the need to make more money than she already as.

I think they've left it a few years too late even for a short goodbye performance. There's no way he's actually going to sing live, and there's a real chance that even sitting down miming will finish him off.

He's been doing physical rehab to be able to stand on his feet for +30 minutes, singing isn't the issue. He even opened up to the idea of recording one final Sabbath album, which the other members agree on.
