Ok. I mean, by the definition not many in the west can be considered 3rd-world, but in 2025 "Third world" describes a country that has no social safety nets, a crumbling infrastructure, a weak economy with even weaker currency and a government that actively works against the wishes of its public. Any one of those should embarrass you, but you're more upset by the perceived insult and the idea that I might be brown (I'm not).

Not any Paco, the USA cannot become a third world country, even if it was nuked to dirt, its still a First World Country because that term doesn't mean what you think it means.

Even if you want to get into the nitty gritty, there is social saftey nets, the infrastructure depends on the state not the federal government, our economy is literally one of the best in the world, and over half our country voted for whats happening, so by even your twisted definition, we still aren't.

Your current Goverment has been systematically destroying them. Social Security is the only one left untouched and that is only because of the incompetence of DOGE.
>the infrastructure depends on the state
Some of it. Some of it, like your telephone and railway systems, are federal. All points of infrastructure are failing except for cellular and Internet infrastructure, also both federal, but thriving only because of their commercial implications. And as far as the points that are under State purvey, the federal Government is trying to strip away state-level protections and rights.
>over half our country voted for whats happening,
Not even half of the eligible population voted. It's an indictment of belief in the election system, not a reflection of popular opinion.
>economy is literally one of the best in the world
No, it's one of the biggest in the world, which does not equate to the best. Your dollar has continually lost value in the face of regulation scandal after banking bubble after interest rate cut. In terms of stability the American economy is weak.

What's kind of cool about the "finding them on your own" thing is, for example, Yngwie plays a hybrid Aeolian / Harmonic Minor scale, I guess it's probably technically an 8 tone bebop scale, (basically harmonic minor but you also play the b7, or Aeolian but you also play the nat7) but probably the main 2 reasons he plays it that way is because it's comfortable on the guitar and it sounds good.
Anonymous No.126933531
They guys who go, "You can never play a wrong note; any time you hit a "bad" note, you're just a half-step away from a good note, so just bend or slide into the good note!" Have NEVER EVER played a sus4 I chord and then landed hard on the b2 ON THE BEAT.

probably just a strat, i haven't owned one in years, but you've all got me looking at offsets too. I might go play a few today and see. i have a need for a single coil in the bridge and money that i didn't give to geissele.

Yeah, a lot of people overlook rhythm, I bet that is really your issue, mine as well, but without rhythm you can't go anywhere. To even walk, a human needs rhythm, it is inherent in us. Keep sweating you'll get there. Just let it flow through you, anon-san.

Highly rec. Careful of modern ones though they all tend to lack features that make JM's and Jag's what they're known for. American Vintage ii JM looks pretty neat, but I don't care for block inlays myself.

Reminder that offset hate is a leftover mindset from the giganormie boomers who only wanted Strats and LesPauls because of Clapton and Page. They hated Teles because they were "country guitars", too, until Radiohead Creep.

Better than guitar center crap at $200 and these are only 150. It looks like a trem bridge, but's it's a fixed tailpiece and the lever is a tuner wrench.
Expect to add more attention to the fretwork for best results. File any sharp ends a bit. Hammer any down that aren't fully seated and add a whisper of CA glue, probably tape off and or use a toothpick. I have no major complaints.

I would do these same things to major brand guitars that aren't finished to a higher standard.
