Just to name a few. I actually make dubstep tunes, but dubstep is not as fun to mix.

I bought a used Pioneer DDJ-WeGo from 2012 to practice with recently. Its left tempo slider is fucked, it makes my VirtualDJ crash mid-set, but it's what money was able to afford.

UR and mad mike talk a lot of shit about being anti-corporate but yet will take Red Bull money like Red Bull isn't a bad corporation peddling a toxic product and making millions of kilo's of waste for corporate greed.
i don't really have a problem with red bull, who cares, it is a shitty drink which co-opts youth culture to put adverts everywhere. but then i also don't complain about apple and other corporations like they are bad, as is the behaviour of Mad Mike. like many african americans, he is full of shit.

they also quite like Diageo money and Boiler Room money, as boiler room is now owned by VC/PE money and is hardly good for the local scenes. there is a whole semester of critical theory critique of boiler room & corporations exploiting emerging ethnic scenes so that zoomers can see a Ballentynes logo while some africans hoot and holler for an hour while someone plays mp3s on a PE pioneer gear.

Underground Resistance goes beyond the problematic actions of any person, also why blame them for something so many countless others have done as well?
Appreciate the origins and point of these scenes came long before the Internet, let alone Red Bull and Boiler Room

>any one person
Of which it seems like a handful who used what had effectively become a brand to continue growing (and yes, playing the game) what they originally started
James Stinson and all the other real people that kept it going are still legends despite

It's pretty much playing the game much of the dance music industry has become over the last 10-15+ years

New anon here… how does this video make you feel?

https://youtu.be/JL3b_fewO08

Two biggest best DJ’s of all time truly going back to back for 2 hours just an incredible fucking set and obviously mixmag is legit…

The crowd? Bunch of rich nerd idiots who don’t possess an ounce of rhythm and they’ve apparently never heard of drugs or alcohol.
