>writes a song called "My Sweet Lord"
>babbles about Krishna for 3 1/2 minutes
Why did John allow him to do this?

>pretended to be the spirtually enlightened Beatle
>constant bitter, sarcastic digs at Paul even though he was the one driving the band forward
>temper tantrums when Paul wants him to play his song the way he envisions it,

what a fake passive aggressive cunt

The Hare Krishna's once gave me a free meal with no strings attached when I was poor, Christians have never given me anything except free new testaments (never the whole bible).

It's about them giving a meal out of the kindness of their heart, Christians so far has only offered me thoughts, prayers and new testaments. Though from what I understand Catholics tend to be more charitable than Protestants who sometimes just straight up worship wealth (prosperity gospel).

This wasn't even a Beatles song.
This wasn't even part of the Get Back project.
This is strictly solo George on his own.

There are churches who have soup kitchens, but a lot of them you have to pray, or say grace, or at least pretend to, before you can eat.
I think Te Salvation Army in certain cities still have soup kitchens, but you have to sit through a sermon where you get guilt tripped beyond belief before you can eat.

That was the Chiffons not the Shirelles and it was the world's dumbest lawsuit because how in the Nine Absols of Hell does "My Sweet Lord" sound anything at all like "He's So Fine"?

you know you can't copyright a chord progression, right?
Anonymous No.126987789 [Report]
That goes back to Lavern Baker throwing a bitchfit because Georgia Gibbs covered her song and they lifted the arrangement with no changes and she found that you can't copyright a song arrangement.

Living in the Material World [Apple, 1973]
If you call this living. Harrison sings as if he's doing sitar impressions, and four different people, including a little man in my head who I never noticed before, have expressed intense gratitude when I turned the damned thing off during "Be Here Now." Inspirational sentiment: "the leaders of nations/They're acting like big girls." C

Yeah, the Krishna's never tried to proselytize or make me pray or whatever it is that they do, they just gave free food with no expectations of getting anything back. Very friendly.

You mean Get Back, don't you.
That's what Let It Be became.
I don't have that song on any of my Get Back bootlegs, and I have a rather large collection, and have been collecting for years.
However, they DID take a go with All Things Must Pass on a few occasions, though....
I love John's YEAH towards the end.
