So... LP had to decrease ticket prices and pick smaller venues for many of the US concerts due to lack of interest, but in Europe they not only are doing mostly big ass stadiums, they opened additional dates for said big ass stadiums and recently announced additional 15 concerts for summer 2026, in Europe, due to the high demand.

What gives? I need an explanation NOW!

I'm going to say it: Nobody cared about this band until Chester took his own life. Chester taking his life is what made everyone "love" this band in the first place.

If Chad Kroeger, as one example, pulled Kurt or Chester, something tells me that the next day everyone would praise Nickelback and pretend that Chad Kroeger was their most liked person ever.

At the start LP was going to be a lot more hardcore than they turned out to be, so metal heads were on board. The mainstream accusations came many albums later and this point there were a lot more normie fans, so it canceled out the criticism. The band was never hated overall, if anything, they steadily grew more popular with time.

No one ever mocked his voice, everyone acknowledged it was an impressive one with lots of range and an incredible screaming ability. Dunno where you got that one form. From day 1 through accusing them of being mainstream to Chester's death no one ever doubted his vocal skill.

That said, there is always a group of people pretending to have been fans to gather likes (real or virtual) by hanging on the Chester death bandwagon. That is true for any event of the sort. My point is that they are a super small minority and the vast majority were either fans for a long time or genuine new ones.
