is it just me or are indie festivals plagged with a generic "indie" sound? my girlfriend wants me to go there and camp with her but there's not a single group that i find interesting except for Lander & Adriaan. Sorry for the doompost I kind of want to go and spend time with her but I also think I'll be bored to death during the sets.

You could say you don't mind going but you're not a fan of the music is it ok if you wander off during the set and grab a beer and stare into space. That's a compromise.

What the heck even is indie music?
I've heard it before and I thought it was great.
But I sitll don't really know what makes a song an indie song. Is it like indie video games? Is it just any song written by soembody with a small publisher, or is it just a specific genre and mood? Lol.

if you only want to go to be with her just remember "festivals" usually aren't only about the music - there's endless lines to stand in for beer, food, etc. the good part is you won't have to worry about missing anything and can be the one to brave the lines while she doesn't miss a second of her faves
