Imagine being this guys mother and having to manage his estate of songs about fucking girls with low self esteem and abusing drugs

His music is dated, and that's okay. He had some good songs but they don't hit the same once you eventually move out of your emo drug abuse phase. He's dead. He didn't have a chance to actually evolve his music over 10 years. Whenever i listen to his songs i just feel some kind of dark energy behind it. There's like a million lil peep wannabes these days and none of them really compare to the magic his songs in 2016-17 did. I don't pay attention to the genre much anymore cause it is pretty cringey and degenerate.
